Catalina is a companion dot here to provide you with Butterfly Dots.
Once she's received enough (triangular) companion dots from you, she will supply your board with Butterfly Dots. Normally, Butterfly Dots clear all surrounding dots after three dot connections are made next to it. But the Butterfly Dots Catalina provides are triggered by only one connection made next to them.
Fill up Catalina's meter with five companion dots, and her ability will be activated. (With a boost, her meter can be filled with only four companion dots.)
