Look, up in the sky!

Is it a bird?
Is it a plane?
Is it a friendly extraterrestrial out on a reconnaissance mission?
If you guessed #3, then you’re right!

Stories about Emily and Uncle Jack’s incredible journey have reached the deepest corners of the galaxy, and some of the most intrepid interstellar explorers are starting to take notice. It’s not that they don’t welcome the competition; it’s just that they can’t quite believe such an epic interdimensional expedition is being undertaken by two ordinary Dots! In fact, it’s so unbelievable that some skeptics simply have to see for themselves.

That’s how Eerie got her start. Bored of her backwater home planet, Eerie always dreamed of flying among the stars, but she didn’t know how to get started. Most people on her planet are farmers, and don’t think much about intergalactic travel. But where there’s a will, there’s a way, and where there’s a determined young woman’s will, there’s very little that can stop her.

So, inspired by the faint legends of young Emily, Eerie began to build her craft. At first, she didn’t have much in the way of spaceworthy materials–she even tried using old cardboard boxes–but then she found a mysterious cache of rare Dotslite ore in a nearby mountain. With that, a how-to rocketry book, and a homemade smelter, she was on her way to space in just a few years! She even had time to meet up with Emily and Uncle Jack on their travels, although she was rushing to join the never-ending birthday party happening in Saturn’s rings. (Oh, you didn’t know about that? No worries, everyone’s invited!)

Eerie had to wait a long time and work hard to achieve her goals. Luckily for us, we can just use Boosters and Power-Ups, which makes things a lot faster. But there’s a lot to be said for following through with a difficult project and breaking your own path, whether it be to the boardroom, the stage, or to the stars.
