Color Bursts are an in-game powerup that can be used to remove all Dots of a particular color from the board. This is super helpful to clean up your board when there are no squares available, or to activate colored mechanics likes Gems or Monsters.

You can acquire Color Bursts with Gold in the Store or when you run out in-game by tapping the Color Burst icon below the board.
